The theory and practice of psychodynamic therapy focuses on the “why” of your symptoms, diving deep into unconscious motivations, fears, and defenses to help you understand yourself at a fundamental level.
Overall, this approach to therapy helps you gain insight into how your prior experiences have shaped your current behavior, personality, and relationships. It is my belief that, from this nuanced perspective, the deepest and most enduring changes can be made.
